Responsibilities

• Provide direct emergency department nursing care to adult and pediatric patients
• Perform triage, continuous patient assessment, and rapid response to clinical changes
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocol
• Monitor vital signs, use advanced monitoring equipment, and assist with high-acuity cases and trauma as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and the ED team; document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to evidence-based practices throughout the shift

Requirements

• Must have 4 years of well-rounded adult and pediatric ER experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• TNCC and ENPC preferred
• Credentialing may be in process and conditional compliance is allowed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ER within a hospital setting
• Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment
