Location: Weston

Facility: Florida Weston Hospital

Shift: Variable

Schedule: 12:00pm-12:00am

A minimum commitment of 2 shifts per week is required. Hospital Campus hours: 5:30 a.m. 6:00 p.m. (8 or 12-hour shifts) Ambulatory locations hours: 7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m. (8-hour shifts) Saturday shifts will be required.

Requirements:

• Must have a current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required prior to hire
• Must have Two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.

Orientation Details:

• All selected candidates must attend mandatory orientation: Location: Martin North Campus (North Region) or Weston Campus - Braathen Bldg. (South Region) Date: September 22, 2026 Time: 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Performs clinical activities which include administering vaccinations.
• Coordinates and tracks compliance programs to meet standards of regulatory agencies for the health and safety of employees.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Complexity of Work:

• Requires excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills.
• Substantial nursing and medical knowledge across relevant therapeutic areas.
• Must work effectively with all health care disciplines.

Work Experience:

• Two years of recent clinical experience with IM injections required.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
• Requires normal or corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
• Sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and /or a negligible amount of force frequently.
• Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
