IT Support Specialist

IT Support Technician Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join a high-demand operational environment supporting a large user base across multiple business systems and technologies. This role is ideal for a proactive problem solver who thrives in fast‑paced settings and is passionate about delivering outstanding end‑user support. Responsibilities Provide hands‑on technical support for end users, including hardware, software, and peripheral devices. Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and connectivity issues. Manage and close support tickets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Support approximately 500 users and 200+ devices in a dynamic environment. Assist with workstation deployments, upgrades, and system configurations. Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, productivity applications, collaboration tools, and end‑user devices. Collaborate with a small IT team to ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests. Document troubleshooting steps and maintain accurate support records. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of IT Support experience in a complex enterprise environment. Experience supporting large user populations and multiple business systems. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred. Relevant IT certifications are a plus. Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills. Experience supporting modern desktop operating systems. Familiarity with productivity suites, collaboration platforms, printers, and peripheral device support. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Preferred Experience Experience supporting a manufacturing, production, or similar operational environment. Experience working in a high-volume ticketing and end‑user support setting. Key Success Factors Self-starter with the ability to work independently. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
