Head of Industry, Travel

For our client, we are seeking a Head of Industry, Travel to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This leader will own the Travel vertical strategy and serve as the senior face of the business to brand-direct and agency partners. The role is focused on expanding market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and positioning the organization as a trusted programmatic advertising partner in travel. This person will also build and lead a high-performing commercial team while partnering closely with internal stakeholders to drive growth. Location: Chicago, IL Compensation: $225,000 – $250,000 annually Responsibilities Scale the Travel business through new brand relationships Establish the organization as a premier programmatic solution Drive industry awareness through thought leadership and education Grow brand-direct demand and support agency adoption Develop and execute a brand-first go-to-market strategy Hire, train, and scale a team of Travel-focused sellers Define success metrics and manage performance for growth Serve as the executive face of the Travel business Qualifications 15+ years of advertising experience 7+ years in Travel marketing across brand-direct, agency, or vendor environments Proven track record in Travel advertising and direct brand relationships Experience hiring and leading high-performing GTM teams Strong analytical and strategic mindset Excellent communication and presentation skills Deep understanding of programmatic advertising in Travel Benefits Fully paid health insurance Paid parental leave Unlimited PTO Investment in professional growth Recognition as a great place to work Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
