Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Dermatologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health + Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventative care, to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy. Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.Opportunity Details:Attend to dermatology outpatient clinic - both direct patient panel and supervision of resident led clinicsEducate, supervise and mentor Dermatology residentsProvide clinical guidance and direction to residents, medical students and other members of the healthcare team as needed.Performs other administrative, professional, consultative duties as needed by the Department Chairperson.Successful completion of an accredited residency program in DermatologyBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Dermatology by the American Board of DermatologyNew York Medical LicenseWages and Benefits include:Annual Base Salary: $337,000*(board eligible); $347,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at, $501,372** (board eligible) and $512,372** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $90,672.Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
