Border Tire is now hiring a CDL Driver in Mentone, CA!/strong/ppThe strongCDL Driver/strong is responsible for operating a tractor/trailer to transport materials back and forward for specified destinations throughoutthe assigned local area./ppstrongKey measures of successinclude:/strong/pulliHigh utilization of tractor, trailer, and other company resources./liliStrong commitment to no-load refusals./liliMaintain a clear record of citations and accidents./li/ulpstrongJob Type: /strongemstrongFull-Time/strong/em/ppstrong*** Must be available to work some Saturdays./strongbr /strong*** CLASS A CDL - REQUIRED***/strong/ppstrongResponsibilities:/strong/pulliCommunicates in a clear and consistent manner with high integrity./liliHigh utilization of hours of service (HOS) according to DOT regulations by keeping electronic logs (E-log)./liliEnsures cargo is secure to prevent shifting./liliLoads and unloads truck if needed./liliCompletes pre-trip inspections and makes accommodations to trucks as needed./liliComplies and maintains good safety practices with both Border-Tire and DOT safety regulations and procedures./liliCommunicate with Border-Tire personnel regarding hours of services and other critical information./liliAcceptsloads, verifies count and conditions of both unloaded and loaded goods/materialswhen permitted./liliReport overages, shortages, damages, and seal breakages to appropriate personnel./liliImmediate performs and follows the appropriate Border-Tire and DOT procedures if involved in an incident or accident./liliComplies with fuel-efficient driving guidelines./liliProperly hooks/unhook trailers./li/ulpstrongBORDER TIRE/strong/ppstrongYOUR LOCAL TIRE EXPERTS/strong/ppBorder Tire is all things tire.
