Description:
What You’ll Do
Install & Wire Systems: Install and wire fire alarm, access control, CCTV, intercom, and intrusion systems using blueprints and building plans.
Program Systems: Configure and program a variety of security and life safety platforms.
Perform Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, and testing on systems to keep them performing at their best.
Repair & Troubleshoot: Diagnose hardware and software issues, repair system malfunctions, and ensure reliable system performance.
Testing: Test components such as circuits, sensors, and backup systems to verify proper operation.
Provide Support: Assist end users, explain system functionality, and offer technical support when needed.
Document Work: Keep accurate records of installations, configurations, and maintenance activities.
Integrate Systems: Help integrate security and life safety technologies with related subsystems.
Train Users: Teach customers how to operate and maintain their systems effectively.
Follow Safety Standards: Adhere to all codes, safety practices, and company policies during installation and service work.
Manage Inventory: Maintain tools and track parts and materials needed for each job.
Collaborate: Respond to work orders, communicate with clients, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Requirements:
? What We’re Looking For
Minimum of 3 years experience in Security system installation and support
Strong technical skills in electronics, electrical wiring, and security/life safety systems
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Clear communication skills with clients, coworkers, and leadership
Customer-service focused mindset
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Strong documentation and record-keeping habits
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
