Transportation Driver Job Summary: Middle River Health and Rehab, a premier Skilled Nursing organization, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Transportation Driver to join our dedicated team in South Range, WI. - Transport patients to and from medical appointments, therapies, and social activities in a safe and timely manner
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Ensure patient safety and well-being during transportation, providing emotional support as needed
- Maintain accurate records of patient transportation, including mileage logs, passenger manifests, and incident reports
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient transportation and ensure seamless clinical services
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL with a commercial driver's license (Class A or C) preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role; previous experience in the healthcare industry a plus
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and obtain necessary certifications as required by law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- CPR certified
