Job Title: RN - Rapid Response Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rapid Response Duration: 6 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years License: Registered Nurse Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Required certifications and experience Positive, flexible, team-oriented, patient-centered personality Description: Seeking an experienced RN in Rapid Response for a fast-paced environment. The role requires a high level of clinical expertise and adaptability. Candidates should be comfortable with commonly seen emergency complaints and trauma care. Procedures performed include IV insertion, Foley catheter insertion, NG tube insertion, and assisting providers with various ED procedures. RNs will be responsible for point-of-care labs and setup of respiratory equipment. The unit has 11 beds with patient ratios based on acuity, typically 1:4 or 1:6. PCTs are scheduled mid-shift to support RNs. Documentation is completed through the Meditech system. Floating to the main emergency department may occur. The scheduling requires every other weekend. This position offers the opportunity to learn and utilize new equipment and technologies. Candidates will be part of a fully staffed team in a new facility.
