Job Title

Registered Nurse – Oncology / PCU

Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a mixed PCU, Oncology, and Med/Surg unit serving an adult patient population
• Manage and titrate drips including chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, and protonix
• Monitor hemodynamic parameters including CVP, A-line, Swan, and EV-1000 as needed
• Perform hourly rounding and maintain patient experience standards throughout the shift
• Float to same-level-of-care units including Med/Surg and PCU as needed
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case management, social work, dietary, and charge nursing staff

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Oncology and/or PCU
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ONS/ONCC (Chemotherapy) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps
• Compliance with facility fingernail policy — artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers will be considered
• Charge nurse experience of at least 1 year preferred for charge-eligible roles
• EPIC experience within the past 6 months preferred
• Familiarity with ventilator management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring (ICP, Swan, EV-1000)
