Job Description:

LearningObjectives: Provide students with bothclerical and media production experience in a professional and educationalsetting. As administrative support for the college's non-credit Film Academy,students will have an opportunity to assist with non-credit course developmentand coordination, marketing, and production of the Film Academy's forthcomingpodcast. Exposure to established film and media professionals will provide theopportunity to hone interpersonal skills and build a network that can beleveraged for career development. Ongoing feedback and mentorship will beprovided to promote continuous improvement of soft and hard skills, positioningstudents for success in a wide variety of professional sectors post-internship.

Ideal for students who have a demonstratedinterest in and/or have taken coursework in the following areas:

• Marketing/Social Media Marketing
• Journalism
• Film and Media Arts

• Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester;
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress;
• Adhere to College's confidentiality policy;
• Successfully pass background/drug screening;
• Answer phone and take messages;
• Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing;
• Open and sort mail;
• Strong interpersonal communication skills;
• Willingness to learn new technology;
• Assist with special projects;
• Other duties as assigned.
