Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of current hospital ICU experience. Candidates must hold certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH, and TNCC.

Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Travel RN for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The unit has 26 beds and operates with a dedicated staff of 15. The night shift consists of 13 RNs, supported by a Charge Nurse and a Patient Care Technician. Patient ratios are typically 1:2, with 1:1 for high acuity cases, including post-CABG patients. The unit is equipped with advanced medical equipment, including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia devices, and ECMO machines. The electronic medical records system in use is Meditech. The ideal candidate is driven, organized, and efficient, with a positive attitude and engagement. Experience with trauma patients, and post-surgical care is preferred. Typical procedures performed include managing chest tubes, central lines, and medication drips. Candidates with prior experience traveling to large trauma facilities are encouraged to apply.
