In this role you will ensure that work is done in a safe and timely manner.Responsibilities of the position include:Drive a cherry picker, reach and sit-down forklift equipment with lifting devices to push, pull, stack or move products.Check assigned forklift at beginning of shift to ensure unit is functional.Obtain proper documents from supervisor or lead person indicating priority of work assignments.Review reports/orders/customer instructions to ensure proper handling of product.Monitor assigned areas of the warehouse for damaged product/pallets.Ensure production standards are maintained.Must be able to work in a team environment.Other duties as assigned by the Management TeamRequirements of the position include:HS Diploma or GED is desirable.Minimum 1 year of experience driving a reach/sit down, and walkie rider.Warehouse Management System experience desired; HighJump experience highly desiredMust be able to bend, squat, kneel, reach overhead, and stand/walk for up to 4 hours at a time and push/pull lift up to 45 pounds.Our employees enjoy working in a drug-free environment.
