GRILL COOK (FULL TIME)

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Grill Cook position located at OneAmerica in Indianapolis, IN. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, and online applications are accepted only. Candidates must have previous grill cooking and scratch cooking experience, with a pay range of $19.00 to $21.00 per hour. Job Summary: Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with current applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations to ensure high-quality food service is provided. Essential duties and responsibilities include taking orders from customers and preparing items requiring short preparation, completing orders from steam tables and serving customers at multiple stations, serving customers in an efficient, friendly manner following established steps of service meeting outlined standards, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty, using established ticket-collection procedures during service, responsible for records from area worked during service periods, using approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control, carrying pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with established safety standards, storing foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food safety and rotation procedures, cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to ensure sanitation standards are met, resolving customer concerns and reporting relevant information and concerns to supervisor, attending in-service and safety meetings, maintaining good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers, performing job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and performing other duties as assigned.
