Entry Level Account Executive

As an Account Executive, you will focus on the fast-paced brokerage aspect of our business. You will create and manage your individual book of business through constant communication with carriers and customers. Responsibilities Creatively self-generate leads and qualify prospects. Execute 60+ cold calls per day to build relationships with prospects and existing customers. Stay up to date on industry trends to provide and negotiate freight costs to customers and carriers. Manage freight movement and problem-solve in real time by utilizing our proprietary TMS software. Proactively communicate when resolving issues and provide updates to customers and carriers. Qualifications Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold calling customers and making a sale. Mental endurance; an Account Executive will be on the phone for long hours, hear a lot of rejection, and must continue to push through. Willingness to go the extra mile by working after normal business hours and on weekends. Entrepreneurial and competitive spirit (if you’re not first, you’re last). Strong ability to sell and negotiate with confidence and a winning attitude. Maintain composure in high-stress scenarios. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to recognize and prioritize profitable opportunities.
