Civil/Water Resources Engineering Intern

Posted: 07 Jan. 2026 MBK Engineers is presently seeking eager, passionate, and diligent water resources engineering interns to work with our team during 2026. This internship will provide an opportunity to experience the world of consulting engineering while working within the local water resources community. Consideration will be given to both summer interns and those desiring employment during the academic year. This position will pay $24 an hour. Company Overview MBK Engineers , located in Sacramento, California, is a respected consulting engineering firm serving a wide variety of water resources-oriented clients across Northern California and beyond for over 60 years. The firm devotes its entire professional staff to the resolution of complex water resources issues and projects. Desirable Qualifications Currently enrolled student in an upper division undergraduate or graduate civil engineering, environmental engineering, or water engineering related university program Self-motivated and able to work with a project team to complete tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail Ability to work in outdoor conditions for the purpose of performing job duties required Valid driver’s license What do we provide?
