Job Details Job Location: Duncan Regional Hospital, Inc - Duncan, OK 73533. Position Type: Part Time. Education Level: Not Specified. Travel Percentage: None. Job Shift: Day Shift. Job Category: Surgical Services. Key Responsibilities Accurately and carefully use equipment (beds, chairs, stretcher, etc.) to move patients throughout DRH facilities and outside for pickup. Interact with patients, family, and visitors of all age groups. Assist with moving equipment and preparing operating/procedure rooms, as directed. Assist with organizing and cleaning operating or procedure rooms, as needed. Maintain regular attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts. Maintain continuing education including internal and external educational offerings. Appropriately adapt assessment, treatment, and/or care methods to accommodate the physical, cultural, age‑specific, and other developmental needs of each person served. Utilize assistive devices for lifting (mandatory). Adhere to safety protocols at all times. Meet and maintain required conditions of employment, including required vaccinations, as per DRH policy. Undergo respirator and fit testing; required testing will be performed on all team members at risk for exposure to airborne infectious diseases, droplet‑producing procedures, or caustic chemicals. Implement DRH Standards of Behavior and exhibit behaviors consistent with DRH core values. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Strong communication skills; fluent in oral and written English. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and effectively communicate with customers. Ability to follow applicable regulations, policies, and/or procedures. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to remain flexible and quickly adapt to urgent situations. Ability to adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to accomplish the requirements of the position. High school diploma or equivalent or work‑related experience preferred. Basic phone and computer skills (email, texting, etc.). Ability to read information on paper and computer screens. Safety‑Sensitive Position Details This is a “Safety‑Sensitive” Position as defined by Oklahoma law. Applicants must not test positive in pre‑employment drug tests (or any drug tests administered after employment begins) for the presence of THC, even if they possess a valid medical marijuana card. Team Members in “Safety‑Sensitive” positions are not permitted to test positive for THC in any pre‑employment or post‑employment drug test.
