If you're passionate about helping older adults thrive, we'd love to meet you.## **Why you'll love working here*** meaningful work that enhances residents' quality of life* collaborative, resident-focused team environment* opportunity to build lasting relationships with residents and families* stable nonprofit organization with a long-standing reputation for excellence* educational and professional development opportunities* comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage* 403(b) retirement plan* paid time off## **What you'll do*** plan, develop and lead engaging recreational, educational and social programs for Assisted Living residents* facilitate one-on-one, small group and large group activities that promote wellness, independence and social connection* develop and maintain a monthly calendar of events designed to meet residents' interests and abilities* coordinate entertainers, volunteers and community partners to enhance programming* transport residents to off-campus outings and community events as needed* prepare activity areas, supplies and equipment before programs and ensure spaces are clean and organized afterward* document resident participation and evaluate program effectiveness* collaborate with dining and other departments to support successful resident events* create newsletters, bulletin boards, displays and other communication materials that promote resident engagement* build meaningful relationships with residents while creating an environment that is welcoming, engaging and fun## **What you'll bring*** high school diploma or GED* 1 to 2 years of experience in long-term care, Assisted Living, senior living or recreation programming preferred* Activity Director Certification preferred but not required* creativity, enthusiasm and a passion for enriching the lives of older adults* excellent communication and interpersonal skills* ability to organize multiple events and priorities while maintaining attention to detail* valid driver's license preferred for resident transportation and community outings* ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed for activity setup and resident outings* commitment to providing exceptional resident experiences## **About Masonic Homes Kentucky**Masonic Homes Kentucky is a trusted leader in senior living and health services, providing compassionate care and innovative programs that enrich the lives of older adults.
