Make a difference supporting students as an essential classroom team member in a dynamic educational environment near San Bernardino, CA. This contract position is ideal for individuals dedicated to helping students thrive and achieve their potential. As a paraprofessional, you’ll provide vital assistance to educators and impact young learners’ daily experiences throughout the 2025–2026 school year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to assist with classroom management and instructional activities
- Comfortable supporting students individually and in groups
- Flexibility to adapt to varying needs and responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or child development a plus
- A genuine desire to facilitate learning and encourage growth for diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teachers to deliver instructional support
- Assist in the implementation of lesson plans and classroom activities
- Offer direct support to students needing additional help
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Support individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
- Help monitor student progress and behavior
- Participate in staff meetings or required professional development
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
