RN - PACU

PACU Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Location: Montlake, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 4x10-Hour Day Shift (11:00 AM - 9:30 PM)

Job Description: The PACU Registered Nurse will provide care for high acuity patients aged 12 and older in a fast-paced environment, receiving patients post-procedure after sedation from varied areas. Responsibilities include monitoring unstable ICU patients directly from the ICU and performing critical care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients post-anesthesia.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Perform TEE, cardioversion, epidural block placement, and lumbar injections.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for patient-centered care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of ICU experience or strong PACU background with high acuity.
• Active RN license in Washington.
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required; CCRN and CPI preferred.
• Proficient in EPIC charting system.
