Physical Demands & Working Conditions This position includes regular desk and computer work combined with frequent patient interaction. Extended periods of standing and occasional lifting of items over five pounds may be required. The clinic environment is climate-controlled with moderate noise levels.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the front desk representative, answering phones and greeting patients warmly
- Ensure accurate and timely patient check-in and information collection
- Assist with appointment scheduling and patient inquiries
- Maintain on-time clinic flow by notifying providers of patient arrivals
- Retrieve, scan, update, and maintain patient records in the EMR (athenahealth)
- Collect patient payments and assist with billing-related questions
- Manage office supply inventory and maintain an organized front office
- Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times
- Support clinic operations with additional duties as needed
- Travel to nearby clinics to provide additional support when required
- Experience in a front-office, customer service, or healthcare clinic role preferred
- Prior primary practice experience preferred
- Medical billing and coding experience highly preferred
- Experience using an EMR system; athenahealth preferred
- Strong communication skills and professional presence
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Exceptional customer service and patient-first mindset
- Reliable transportation required
