Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist this fall. Based near Temecula, this role focuses on providing speech and language services in a collaborative school environment from August 10, 2026, through December 2026, with the potential for extension. You’ll be working alongside a dynamic team—including another SLP and an SLPA—in three medically fragile classrooms, providing essential communication support for students.

Your specialized experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices will be highly valued, as you'll be serving a population where innovative communication strategies can be life-changing. The role involves working approximately 32.5 to 35 hours per week and offers the chance to make a direct impact while stepping in for a valued team member on leave.

Qualifications:
• Valid CCC-SLP certification required
• Prior experience in a school setting essential
• Strong background in working with AAC devices
• Ability to manage and prioritize caseload in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment
• Compassionate, flexible, and resourceful mindset

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct speech and language services to students with medically complex needs
• Evaluate, develop, and implement intervention plans, adapting goals and strategies for each student
• Collaborate closely with existing SLPs, SLPAs, educators, and families to maximize student potential
• Document progress, maintain compliance with school and state guidelines, and contribute to IEPs
• Train and support staff in AAC use to ensure continuity of communication strategies
