The PRN Dietary Staff position involves assisting with patient meals under the direct supervision of the Dietary Manager. This role requires regular interaction with patients while ensuring compliance with dietary restrictions and safety procedures. Staff work varied shifts, including weekends, to support meal preparation and food service in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals in accordance with patient dietary needs
- Provide food service to patients and staff
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking
- Maintain sanitation and comply with health regulations
- Adhere to dietary restrictions and special meal requirements
- Follow safety procedures during all food handling tasks
- Engage in regular direct patient interaction
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in dietary or food service
- High school diploma or equivalent
