Software Sales Executive - Hunter Role

The Opportunity In this role, you will focus on expanding the adoption of software solutions that support the evolving power grid and energy landscape. As a Software Sales Executive, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with customers to understand their operational needs and align them with digital solutions. Your work will directly contribute to how organizations manage, optimize, and modernize energy systems through software‑driven capabilities. How You’ll Make An Impact Identify and qualify new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and outreach activities Build understanding of the software product portfolio, value proposition, and competitive landscape Conduct discovery discussions with prospective clients to align software solutions with business needs Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers and stakeholders throughout the sales cycle Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals Negotiate contract terms and close complex software deals to achieve sales targets Apply strategic selling approaches to navigate organizational structures and influence purchasing decisions Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline data within CRM tools Collaborate with pre‑sales, professional services, and product teams to support customer onboarding and satisfaction Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
