Our comfort advisors are considered Mechanical Design Specialists because this role is about more than just sales. You'll be trained to assess each home as its own system, designing thoughtful, custom solutions for comfort that truly fit the customer's needs. You won't be stuck chasing cold leads or pushing products that don't fit. You'll consult, problem-solve, and get paid well for doing it right.Position: Comfort Advisor / Mechanical Design SpecialistWorking Hours: 8:00 - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday with occasional overtime to meet customer demandsPay: On-target earnings of 125,000 - 160,000 annually; base plus commissionWhat You'll Do:Conduct in-home consultations with customers and assess their HVAC needsRecommend tailored comfort solutions based on the customer's home and goalsEducate customers on the benefits of energy-efficient heating and cooling systemsBuild trust and guide customers through major purchase decisionsFollow up on opportunities and close salesPartner with install and service teams to ensure a smooth customer experienceWhy Choose Mechollage?Comprehensive Benefits: 50% company-paid medical coverage, 401K with a 6% company match, paid holidays, paid vacation, education reimbursement, and uniforms. With offices in Virginia Beach and Newport News locations, we serve a large customer base with a focus on doing things right, from how we serve homeowners to how we support our team.What You Bring:2+ years of outside sales or in-home sales experience is required (HVAC, roofing, solar, windows, or similar industries)Proven ability to build rapport quickly and close consultative salesHigh school diploma or equivalent (additional HVAC or sales training is a plus)Strong communication and presentation skillsValid driver's license and insurable driving recordComfortable using CRM systems and digital sales toolsSelf-driven and motivated by performance-based earningsWe kindly ask that all applications be submitted online.
