Join a respected regional healthcare organization seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing outpatient opportunity. This position offers a collaborative practice environment, manageable patient volume, strong clinical support, and long-term assignment stability.

The provider will manage a panel of hematology and oncology patients, including follow-up visits, treatment management, and select new patient evaluations. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP who enjoys building patient relationships, working within a multidisciplinary team, and providing comprehensive cancer care in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, evaluations, and follow-up visits
• Manage treatment plans and coordinate ongoing oncology care
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic studies and laboratory results
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and disease management
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document encounters accurately within the electronic medical record

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Active state license or ability to obtain licensure prior to start
• Minimum 3 years of recent Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
• Chemotherapy certification required
• Experience managing complex oncology patients
• Strong care coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to meet all facility credentialing requirements
