Business Development Manager

Seeking an experienced wine industry sales professional to join M.A. Silva as a Business Development Manager. This key role involves proactively targeting prospects, generating and following up with leads, and working with the sales team to develop new business within existing accounts. The position is ideally located in Sonoma or Napa County, with frequent travel to other major wine areas across the country. Duties and Responsibilities Identify and generate new business opportunities Develop and nurture new and existing customer relationships Implement a sales plan in collaboration with the National Sales Manager to increase revenue and acquire new accounts Expand business with current clients by identifying additional needs and presenting solutions Assist sales team members in maximizing account revenue and profit potential Accurately report all market activity to M.A. Silva management in a timely manner Qualifications "HUNTER" mentality with strong new business and lead generation skills Comfortable with cold calling and prospecting Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent industry experience Previous business development or sales experience; wine industry experience preferred Proven leadership, negotiation, project, and account management skills Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication; proven presentation skills at all organizational levels Ability to work independently and as part of various teams and committees Capacity to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines with flexibility and enthusiasm Benefits Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 plus unlimited commission potential Performance bonuses and comprehensive benefit package Friendly, positive working environment within an equal‑opportunity organization We are an equal‑opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr M.A. Silva USA
