Seasonal Scale Operator/Dispatcher

The Position Scale Operator/Dispatcher – organize customer orders and dispatch trucks for aggregate sales at various aggregate sites. Responsibilities Take aggregate orders and handle customer inquiries regarding products for various sites. Answer phones and route calls in support of commercial aggregate sales and operations. Generate and communicate sales orders to scale personnel and the finance department. Reconcile, correct, and upload aggregate tickets for commercial aggregate sites. Generate, communicate, and route pricing as needed to customers. Weigh and ticket incoming and outgoing truck loads. Print tickets and handle customer issues during the sales process. Perform general clerical duties or other record‑keeping as required. Provide administrative support to the Site Managers and quarry staff. Handle cash transactions and process cash deposit slips. Administer site‑specific training or information as needed. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Willingness and ability to work every other Saturday. Requirements HS Diploma or equivalent. Ability to multi‑task. Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and in dirty and dusty environments when scaling. Valid Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record. Strong computer skills, especially with Office programs, and the ability to learn proprietary systems. Prior experience working with dispatching or scales (preferred). Prior experience working in customer service and cash‑handling roles (preferred). Must be self‑directed and motivated (preferred).
