Graphic Design InternshipBauer Entertainment Marketing is looking for a dynamic professional to support its graphic design initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a career in music, sports, entertainment, marketing, or technology.You will be responsible for assisting with marketing initiatives and client projects. Daily activities include but are not limited to preparing images to coincide with social and blog posts, assisting with website and blog updates, creating various logos, creating and updating various sales collateral, and anything else BEM deems necessary.This internship requires a minimum commitment of three days per week. Specific days and hours can be coordinated with your supervisor based on business needs and academic schedules.This position reports to the Sr. Graphic Designer and supports our team of project managers and account coordinators. This internship will correspond with your educational study/school credit requirements. In addition to significant professional development, mentorship, and real-world project experience, participants will be considered for a one-time, performance-based payment at the conclusion of the program. The amount depends on business and individual results.This internship can be done from our workspace in East Nashville and/or remotely.The length of the internship has an expected, but flexible, start in January and completion in May.Qualifications:Current graduate student or undergraduate Junior or SeniorBusiness, music, marketing, design, or psychology-focused degrees preferredStrong interest in entertainment and technology industriesExperience in startups, marketing, and the entertainment industry is a bonus, but not requiredHard Skills:Computer knowledge for both Mac and PCExcellent written, oral, and visual communication skillsDetailed knowledge of and experience with social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google productsMust be proficient in basic graphic design programs (e.g., Canva, Adobe)Must have basic video editing skills (Canva, app-based editing, etc.)Experience with digital advertising (e.g., Facebook, Google, AdRoll)Basic understanding of text/background animationSoft Skills:Ability to work independently with minimal direction and supervisionGreat people skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues in person and remotelyHighly organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and productive while managing multiple tasks at onceNeeds to be told things only once, but not afraid to ask for clarificationCapacity to get work done in a fast-paced environment not confined to a typical "9 to 5" dayStrong problem-solver and adept at anticipating opportunitiesSeeks, welcomes, and uses constructive criticism to learn, grow, and improveMission:Bring ideas to life and amplify client impact by creating engaging visuals that align with campaign objectives and brand strategiesOutcomes:Design creative assets for client projects across print and digital formatsBuild a personal portfolio including at least 3 approved client-facing designsStrengthen proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Canva through real-world applicationOur internship offers you:Flexible Scheduling: Work from wherever and whenever you want as long as deadlines are met, your communication is timely and consistent, and your supervisors are happy with the results.
