JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: L-NP-260918-45803 Profession: Nurse Practitioner Specialty: NP - Family Medicine Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Deming, NM 88030 Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Nov 09, 2026 – Feb 05, 2027 Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8a – 12p and 1p – 5p Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 23 patients/day FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: NextGen Support Staff: MAs: 1, PA/NPs: 1, Office Staff: 1 PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: No JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified required Licenses: Licensed in NM Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ABLS Other Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Duties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the lifespan, including health assessments, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Perform physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and clinical guidelines. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records using NextGen EMR.
