X-Ray Technologist

Role: Responsible for performing radiology testing, including body mechanics and patient movement, using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Operates diagnostic equipment, develops films, prepares the exam room, and performs Medical Assistant duties as needed. Key Responsibilities Greet patients promptly and communicate wait times and next steps. Provide solutions to patient problems and assist in emergent situations. Conduct follow-up calls with urgency and assist with patient check-in/out procedures. Document vital signs, medical history, medications, and allergies accurately. Assist with patient transfers and procedures under provider supervision. Perform radiology procedures, ensuring quality and safety, including radiation protection. Maintain equipment and report malfunctions; follow clinical and regulatory procedures. Update and improve radiology knowledge and skills; maintain current licensure and certification. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. BLS Certification. AR State X-Ray License; ARRT Certification preferred. Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred. Additional Details: Full-time staff work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends; PRN team members work as needed.
