Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week cardiac cath lab assignment in Louisiana.

Details

• Hospital-based cardiac cath lab setting
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Weekend requirement approximately once every five weeks
• On-call requirement of 5–8 shifts depending on staffing needs
• Holiday coverage is required
• No float requirement
• Primary equipment: Philips single-plane; Siemens and bi-plane experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required; 3 years preferred
• ARRT or RCIS, BLS, and Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required (temporary LSRT accepted; typically issued within 3–5 days upon payment and proof of ARRT certification)
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency with Philips single-plane equipment required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract; excessive RTO requests are strictly managed
• 13-week contract length
