Quality Associate

The Quality Associate will be responsible for performing in-process quality checks and testing, as well as ensuring the Critical Control Points are met throughout the manufacturing process. Perform post cleaning swabbing and pre-operational inspections throughout the manufacturing facility. In addition, the Quality Associate will be responsible for performing and supporting internal audits and foreign material inspections. What we look for Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in quality within manufacturing facilities preferably in food manufacturing. Equal Opportunity Employer Requirements Conduct routine quality inspections and testing throughout the manufacturing facility, including inspections of raw materials, labeling, in-process materials, and finished goods. Conduct swabbing post cleaning for verification of cleaning effectiveness and allergen proteins. Conduct environmental swabbing and testing. Assist with and at times perform pre-operational inspections throughout the manufacturing facility. Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Wow Bao Food Safety Policies. Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols and standard operation procedures. Document findings, report deviations, and work with cross functional teams to resolve quality issues. Participate and perform internal audits and foreign material inspections. Support the quality assurance team in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quality assurance activities. Train and mentor staff on quality control procedures, fostering and supporting a culture of quality awareness across the organization. Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials. Effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction. Multi-task calmly and effectively in a busy work environment. Other duties will be assigned as needed. Additional Requirements Full-time on-site position. Monday - Friday 1st Shift Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience within a manufacturing facility preferably in food manufacturing. HACCP Certification and/or PCQI for Human Food, or ability to achieve this certification. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Proficient in using IT office machines, Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Outlook, Zoom/Microsoft Teams teleconferencing software. Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency of the English language. Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and effectively prioritize multiple tasks. Some duties may require attention outside of normal business hours. Physical Demands Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time. Ability to work in various environments including cold environments for extended periods. Use of protective equipment such as gloves, safety glass, and ear protection.
