Emish Restaurant is a Ukrainian and European restaurant located in Federal Way, WA. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and professional Server to join our team and provide excellent service to our guests.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, attentive, responsible, and able to work efficiently in a busy restaurant environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

• Greet guests warmly and provide professional, friendly service
• Present menus and explain menu items, ingredients, and daily specials
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Enter orders correctly into the POS system
• Answer guest questions about Ukrainian and European dishes
• Make recommendations based on guest preferences
• Communicate customer orders and special requests clearly to the kitchen
• Monitor tables throughout the meal and provide attentive service
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
• Check on guests to ensure satisfaction
• Respond to customer questions, concerns, and requests
• Resolve minor customer service issues professionally and involve management when necessary
• Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions
• Maintain accurate checks and follow restaurant payment procedures
• Keep tables, dining areas, and service stations clean and organized
• Clear and reset tables efficiently
• Follow restaurant food safety and sanitation standards
• Work closely with kitchen staff, hosts, bartenders, bussers, and management
• Assist other team members when needed
• Follow opening and closing procedures
• Maintain a professional, positive, and team-oriented work environment

Work Schedule: Full-time or part-time; schedule will be discussed during the interview. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Pay & Compensation: $18-19/h + tips (Competitive hourly pay plus tips , based on experience and qualifications).

Benefits:
Full-time employees are eligible for competitive employee benefits including paid sick leave (1 hour per 40 hours worked), partial employer-covered medical insurance (75% for full-time employees), and paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year of employment and 2 weeks after 2 years.

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
• Ability to accurately take and enter customer orders
• Ability to learn and explain menu items
• Ability to handle cash and credit card payments accurately
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
