Knowledge of blueprints and airfoil specifications a definite asset. Working knowledge of nondestructive testing methods a plus.PersonalCharacteristics:Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/ quantity. Work Experience requirement:1-3 years of Quality management system (QMS) experience, Aerospace or IGT quality experience preferred. Experience which combines both 3rd party auditor / customer contact and technical discipline will also be considered. Principal Area ofResponsibility: Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes including human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics and material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination. Specific Duties: Responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining systems relating to ISO, AS9100, NADCAP and other similar industry standards. Develop and maintain Quality systems with the customer and manufacturing organization to ensure delivery of quality products. Manage internal and supplier audits, as required by the customer and the Company’s Quality Management System. Provide support of plant quality and continuous improvement programs, including Six Sigma, SPC, and various customer driven programs. Work with engineering, operations and other company functions to identify root causes and ensure effective implementation of corrective actions. Perform audits to monitor product quality/ISO requirements and support manufacturing/inspection training activity as needed. Quality investigations as required to identify and eliminate scrap/rework causes and customer issues. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with customers, clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
