Nurse Practitioner Pulmonary Medicine (Outpatient)

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join Baylor Scott & White Pulmonary Care Consultants - Rockwall. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established pulmonary practice dedicated to providing comprehensive outpatient care for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.

This position is 100% outpatient, offering a predictable Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule with no inpatient responsibilities. The Advanced Practice Provider will work collaboratively with board-certified pulmonologists to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad spectrum of pulmonary and sleep-related disorders while delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

The clinic provides comprehensive pulmonary services including management of asthma, COPD, chronic cough, pulmonary nodules, lung masses, pulmonary function testing, oxygen therapy, smoking cessation, and sleep-related breathing disorders.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills, knowledge of pulmonary disease management and evidence-based practice, excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding interpersonal and patient relationship skills, critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities, ability to develop comprehensive, outcomes-based treatment plans, strong organizational and time-management skills, ability to interpret pulmonary diagnostics, laboratory studies, and imaging, proficiency with electronic medical records and healthcare technology, and commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care.
