Veterinary Assistant - Surgery

At VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists , we are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our Surgery Team. Salary $ 22 - $ 28 / hour Schedule Full-Time, 4x10-hour Location 3021 Edinger Ave, Tustin, CA 92780 About the Position We may be part of a big company, but we are a close-knit work family. This will include at least one weekend day. Duties will include: Duties Maintaining medical records. Preparing for and performing procedures and treatments. Preparing medications and prescriptions. Communicating in person and on the phone with clients. Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging. Assisting in procedures. Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets. Assisting in other areas of the hospital, as needed.
