Lead Massage TherapistIn this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and training all Spa team members to ensure guests are receiving the ultimate spa experience. As the master organizer, you will also be responsible for scheduling all spa-related appointments, checking guests in and out, and assisting in all retail sales. The Lead Massage Therapist will come with a friendly and helpful demeanor and be able to manage guest issues and create solutions.Responsibilities include:Ensuring the spa and fitness facilities are prepared for proper opening and closing each dayMonitoring and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working orderArranging all spa appointments for a la carte services/activities and packagesSupporting Director of Wellness with all administrative functions of the Spa including using Spa software, maintaining inventory of supplies, answering telephones, making appointments, and answering questionsOverseeing efficiency of Spa operations at the Spa front desk via proper scheduling of appointments and staff as well as review and revise scheduling dailyAssisting with billing for all Spa services and retail sales including preparing receiptsBeing thoroughly familiar with and providing instruction on Spa softwareAssisting with inventories and cost controlAssisting in monitoring and evaluating Spa Reception and Locker Room employeesQualifications include:At least 1 year of experience within a luxury hotel property, spa environment or luxury retailer preferredExperience leading a small team with a positive and heartfelt approachAbility to handle customer requests, issues and come up with quick solutionsTrusting to handle confidential guest informationShow initiative and strive to prioritize operational needs and anticipate guest requestsBe an excellent communicator, great listener and super understanding whether towards other team members or guests
