TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Augusta, Georgia, 30901!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year; first timers accepted License: GA or Compact license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Charge RN experience requested Experience with patient ratio of 1:6 Experience with electronic charting system Description: Charge RN experience is requested. Minimum experience required is 1 year; new graduates are accepted. The patient population includes adults to geriatrics. Required skills and knowledge include isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, nasal cannula, high flow nasal cannula, chest tubes, starting IVs, PICC line management, blood product administration, and feeding tube care and management. The nurse-patient ratio is 1:6, with an average daily census of 29 in a unit containing 32 rooms. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Full compliance is required prior to the start date. If not compliant in time, there will be a two-week pushback due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule. Travelers are expected to work on major holidays as specified in the job description. RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days. All RTO must be finalized at the time of submission, and no requests can be made post-offer. Compliance documents must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
