Shift Lead

As a Shift Leader at our Plaza Midwood store located at 1401 Central Ave, you are the captain of our bakery day or night. You understand what it takes to own the night by predicting the flow of business during a successful shift. Your hands‑on leadership style should include building orders, suggestive selling, baking, and interacting with customers, while leading the team to a productive and enjoyable shift. You will motivate staff, maintain operations, communicate relevant information, monitor production efficiency, hold the team accountable to company standards, and assist in training and coaching. Support store leadership by maintaining operations, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable, and assisting in training and coaching. Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team. Provide a safe, clean working environment and adhere to safe food handling practices. Manage cash handling and deposits. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE At least 1 year of customer service experience. Experience with point‑of‑sale systems. Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills. Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor. Detail focused and results oriented. Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
