Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Flex Pool | Nights Location: Hawaii Assignment Length: 13 Weeks Employment Type: Travel Contract Shift: Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) Schedule: 36 Hours Per Week Overview We are seeking an experienced Flex Pool Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple medical, surgical, and cardiovascular units, providing comprehensive patient care while utilizing a broad range of clinical skills. The ideal candidate is adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable floating between units based on patient care needs and staffing requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical and surgical patients. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to provider orders. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in a variety of patient care settings. Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) License. Hawaii RN License by assignment start date. Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience. Current BLS Certification. Strong medical-surgical and acute care nursing skills. Ability to adapt quickly to different patient populations and clinical environments. Preferred Qualifications ACLS Certification. PALS Certification. Procedural Sedation Certification. TNCC Certification. ENPC Certification. Step-Down or Progressive Care experience.
