Department Manager

We are a locally owned and operated restaurant engaged in food service. The franchisee, not McDonald’s USA, serves as the employer for all employees. Responsibilities Department Managers lead weekly shifts ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, friendly service. Supervise and manage assigned departments such as Guest Service, Kitchen, or People. Manage systems including Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management. Set goals, delegate tasks, track performance, and report results. Ensure crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, including promotion execution, front counter organization, and drive‑thru operations. Maintain food quality, speed, safety, cost control, and proper staff training. Hire, train, and schedule qualified crew to meet sales and profit goals. Recognize and motivate crew throughout employment. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. Previous managerial experience preferred; prior McDonald’s experience extremely preferred. Experience in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Positive team player with flexible schedule and willingness to work fast‑paced environment. Compensation and Benefits Starting pay of $21.00 per hour, with quick earning potential based on job performance and completion of training. World class training and development. Flexible scheduling.
