- Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS)
- Perform installations, upgrades and patch applications to SAP software products. Apply patches to databases used for SAP applications.
- Strong knowledge of HANA database
- Strong knowledge of environment either consist of - Linux, Unix, Wintel servers with databases Oracle, DB2, MaxDB, Sybase, SQL Server etc
- Work collaboratively with the SAP Functional teams from the business and regional support hubs (local IT team) and management team on projects, issues and enhancements
- Performance/resource management to include SAP monitoring, availability configuration, application tuning, prevention and application optimization activities
- Provide technical guidance for large-scale domestic and international projects including application installation and tuning, planning and installing patches in test and production environments
- Provide problem resolutions and be part of a 24x7 on-call SAP support team. (L2/L3 support)
- Strong experience in managing deliverables of vendors and strategic outsourcing partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Should have good people management skills.
- Strong knowledge of Solution Manager Configuration (Manage System Config, CHARM, CTS+ etc)
- Good experience with Sizing using tools like QuickSizer, Capacity planning.
- Good experience working on Virtualize environment.
- Knowledge of SAP cloud environment (AWS, MS Azure etc) along with certification will be added advantage. ”
