Our technicians play a vital role in providing high-quality cooling tower service, maintenance, and water hygiene programs that protect our customers' assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and safeguard public health.The primary responsibility of the Cooling Tower Cleaning Technician is to perform thorough power washing and cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks, ensuring equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced, changing environments.This position requires frequent travel to customer locations across the Northeast, including Maine, New York, New Hampshire, and Vermont.Roles/Tasks of the PositionPerform detailed cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks using power washing equipment and approved cleaning methodsOperate power washers safely, selecting appropriate spray heads and pressures for each taskAssist with pre- and post-cleaning activities, including system preparation and clean-upAccurately follow instructions from supervisors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on scheduleComplete required safety documentation, including Job Hazard Analyses and daily paperworkFollow all company safety policies, including proper PPE usage and chemical handling proceduresRead and apply information from Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) as requiredMaintain a professional attitude and strong work ethic while representing the company at client sitesPerform additional duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceHigh School Diploma, or equivalentExperience power washing or industrial cleaningPrior experience working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments.Prerequisites & RequirementsNegative 10 panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test.Proof of U.S. Citizenship.Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for travel to designated meeting locations.Satisfactory background check.Some late nights, occasional overnight work, and overtime when available.Early start times (sometimes as early as 4:30 AM).Reliable attendance and punctuality for early-morning schedules.Smartphone proficiency for scheduling and communication (Gmail, Dropbox, OneDrive, Adobe, etc.).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical Demands and Working EnvironmentEmployees must be able to perform the essential functions of this role, with reasonable accommodation provided as needed.
