TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro RN in Charleston, South Carolina, 29406!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NIH Stroke Scale Must-Have: - Advanced skills required - Ability to float to similar units as needed - Experience with Meditech documentation system Description: The traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy. They are expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with staff employees. The unit is currently open with 30 beds and has renovations in process. Currently, there are 18 beds open. Patient ratios on the unit are 6-7 patients per nurse. The unit utilizes a team nursing approach, with techs available on the unit. A unit secretary will be present to assist staff. The goal is to have a charge nurse available to support the team. Regular medical-surgical equipment is used on the unit. Hourly safety rounds must be performed for patient experience. Bedside shift reports are conducted with patients. BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are required and can be obtained as needed. The unit follows specific guidelines and policies. Supportive management and a focus on teamwork are emphasized. Staff members highlight an excellent work-life balance as a benefit of working here.
