Truck Parts Counterperson (South Roxana, IL) Mike's Inc Mike’s Inc., a union shop, is seeking a full-time Truck Parts Counterperson for their facility in South Roxana, IL. Responsibilities Utilize electronic catalogs, parts/unit reference books and internal computer system to resource information. Process orders, billing, credit returns, cores, and transaction reconciliation. Problem Solving Answer phone calls from service shops and customers delivering outstanding customer service. Sell parts and accessories to customers and communicate order status. Quote jobs and order parts for union technicians in our service department. Accurately look up part numbers. Process payments cashiered in the Parts Department. Maintain friendly interactions and a high level of professionalism with our customers and employees. Skills Parts counter experience Excellent communication skills, sales skills and phone etiquette Team player Professional attitude Enjoys a fast-paced work environment. Provide exceptional customer service to customers. Computer aptitude with online/internet proficiency Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
