Join The Pasha Group as Divisional Controller, where you will lead accounting operations for designated business units, provide critical financial insight to senior leadership, and ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial reporting. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for overseeing accounting managers and staff, managing the month-end close process, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and controls, and partnering with operational leaders to support sound business decisions. You will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, process improvement, and the continued growth of the finance organization. Lead Financial Reporting, Analysis & Accounting Operations Drive timely, accurate financial reporting while providing meaningful insights that support business performance. Oversee Financial Reporting: Ensure the accurate and timely preparation and delivery of financial statements for designated entities, divisions, and lines of business.Provide Business Analysis: Deliver financial and operational reporting, analysis, and recommendations to senior management.Manage Month-End Close: Oversee the monthly closing process, including journal entry preparation, review, and reconciliation activities.Analyze Financial Performance: Evaluate budgets, standard costs, operational flash reports, and actual performance to identify trends and variances.Deliver Ad Hoc Insights: Prepare special analyses and reporting that support strategic and operational decision-making.Strengthen Financial Controls, Compliance & Process Excellence Ensure accounting integrity through strong controls, sound processes, and continuous improvement. Maintain Financial Controls: Provide oversight of accounting processes and internal controls that support accurate and compliant financial reporting.Enforce Policies & Procedures: Apply and uphold established accounting standards, financial policies, and company procedures.Manage Documentation: Ensure appropriate documentation and supporting records are maintained for all accounting transactions.Support External Audits: Coordinate audit preparation activities and provide required information to external auditors.Drive Process Improvements: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline accounting workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance reporting accuracy.Partner Across Finance & Operations Collaborate with business leaders and finance partners to support operational success and financial performance. Support Business Leaders: Serve as a trusted financial resource for operational and departmental managers, helping resolve accounting-related questions and issues.Assist Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with business unit management to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts.Collaborate Across Finance Functions: Work closely with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Center of Excellence teams to support accounting requirements across business units.Support Strategic Initiatives: Participate in accounting software implementations, system upgrades, interface development, and conversion projects.Align Financial Operations: Partner with Finance leadership to ensure consistency, collaboration, and excellence across accounting and reporting activities.Lead, Develop & Empower Accounting Talent Build a high-performing team committed to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Lead Accounting Teams: Manage accounting managers, General Ledger staff, and other assigned personnel.Coach & Develop Employees: Provide training, guidance, and professional development opportunities that strengthen team capability.Set Clear Expectations: Communicate priorities, policies, procedures, and performance standards effectively.Foster Collaboration: Encourage strong working relationships across Accounting, Finance, and Operations teams.Promote Accountability: Ensure high standards of performance, accuracy, and service throughout the accounting function.What You Bring You combine strong accounting expertise, leadership capabilities, and analytical skills with the ability to support business performance through accurate financial management. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of coursework and directly related experienceCPA designation or equivalent accounting experience preferred8+ years of progressively responsible accounting experienceExperience working with accounting software platforms and ERP systemsStrong understanding of accounting controls, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger reconciliation processesExperience preparing complex financial analyses and worksheetsAbility to support accounting operations across multiple companies or business entitiesExperience developing, implementing, and communicating accounting policies and proceduresStrong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and
