Full-time Regular Livermore, CA, US Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $72,000.00 Annually SUMMARY This role involves facilities maintenance and repair activities for our store locations. We are looking for someone with a mechanical aptitude who is skilled using basic hand and power tools. Ideally, the person will understand basic construction principles and have prior facilities maintenance and repair experience in a retail and/or office environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Perform maintenance and repair tasks including patching and painting walls, replacing door locksets, performing minor repairs to cabinetry, replacing defective plumbing fixtures, etc. Replace interior and exterior lights as necessary Install new door chime hardware for new store openings Installation of new sales banners and posters at stores Contact vendors to schedule site visits for estimating more complex repairs to building systems Provide on-site access for vendors performing complex repair activities at stores Assist senior facilities technicians with more complex in-house maintenance and repair projects Assist Facilities Manager with special projects Performs other duties as assigned by manager QUALIFICATIONS Two to four years’ related experience Valid driver license with good driving record Proficiency using common hand tools and power tools Excellent organizational skills required Ability to work independently and as a team member Basic skills with Microsoft Office tools; e.g. Excel, Word, and Outlook Strong interpersonal skillsCreative, flexible, and innovative team player Commitment to safety Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work in an environment with shifting priorities PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: Follow directions and maintain a high level of safety when performing tasks Collect, interpret, and analyze data and information Be flexible with frequently changing priorities WORK ENVIRONMENT Moderate noise level associated with an open office and retail store work environments #J-18808-Ljbffr Mancini’s Sleepworld
