Key Responsibilities Product Architecture & Strategy Define and own the architecture vision, standards, and roadmap for assigned products or product lines Design scalable, high‑performance, and resilient systems across application, integration, data, and AI layers Establish and maintain current‑state and future‑state architecture documentation Align product architecture with business priorities, customer needs, and platform strategy (Identity, APIM, Data, AI) AI & Data Platform Enablement Architect product capabilities that leverage AI/ML and GenAI services such as AI‑assisted workflows, agent integrations, data‑driven insights and predictive capabilities Partner with Data & AI teams to ensure data pipelines, models, and services are scalable, secure, and production‑ready Define architecture patterns for model integration (APIs, event‑driven, batch/real‑time), data access, governance, and AI service orchestration Platform Integration & Standardization Ensure consistent adoption of shared platform capabilities including APIM, Identity (Auth0), data and integration platforms, and AI/ML services Translate platform capabilities into practical, product‑level implementations Identify platform gaps and help evolve reusable patterns and “paved roads” Responsible AI, Security & Governance Contribute guardrails for responsible AI usage: data privacy, residency, access control, identity propagation, model usage governance, and auditability Partner with Security and Data teams to ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and data governance requirements Contribute to architecture governance, including design reviews and ADRs Delivery Engagement & Technical Leadership Embed with engineering teams to co‑design solutions for key initiatives and roadmap delivery Lead architecture reviews, design sessions, and trade‑off discussions Ensure decisions are intentional, documented, and aligned across teams Balance speed vs quality, enabling rapid delivery without compromising architecture integrity Engineering Collaboration & Enablement Partner with Engineering, SRE, Ops, and Data teams on roadmap execution and delivery practices Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to engineers and tech leads Promote reusable patterns, standards, and developer‑friendly approaches Enable teams to integrate platform and AI capabilities with minimal friction Technical Debt, Risk & Scalability Identify and mitigate architectural, performance, scalability, AI and data‑related risks Own product‑level technical debt strategy and prioritization Drive proactive architecture evolution rather than reactive fixes Cross‑Product Alignment & Integration Ensure product architecture supports cross‑product workflows and shared capabilities Promote consistency across APIs, data models, AI integrations and services Contribute to a unified architecture vision supporting One Accruent platform strategy Required Education B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. Required Experience 8+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, or product architecture roles Experience designing cloud‑based, distributed SaaS systems in production environments Experience integrating platforms across API, identity, data, and AI domains Experience working across multiple teams and influencing technical direction Required Competencies Strong expertise in API design and integration patterns (REST, event‑driven, asynchronous, streaming, messaging) and modern AI integration patterns (agent orchestration, API/tool invocation, agent‑based workflows) Identity and security (OAuth2, JWT, RBAC) Scalable application and system architecture Working knowledge of AI/ML system integration, LLM‑based architectures, data access patterns, pipelines, and governance considerations Ability to translate platform capabilities into product implementation patterns Strong communication skills across engineering and leadership audiences Experience driving architecture decisions across teams without direct authority Experience aligning technical decisions with business and product priorities Strongly Preferred Competencies Experience with API Management platforms (e.g., Azure APIM) Experience with Identity platforms (e.g., Auth0) Experience with data platforms, data pipelines, analytics, lakehouse architectures Experience with AI/ML platforms, LLM APIs, or agent‑based systems Experience in multi‑tenant SaaS architecture patterns Familiarity with hybrid or multi‑cloud environments Experience with architecture governance processes (ADRs, design reviews) Exposure to AI‑driven product capabilities (assistants, recommendations, automation) Other Requirements Strong ownership mindset with focus on outcomes and continuous improvement Ability to operate across product, platform, and AI domains in a fast‑paced environment Ability to work cross‑functionally in a distributed team environment Role requires a satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Public Safety Verification Benefits Eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package Salary range: 137,200.00 – 229,100.00 local currency Equal Employment Opportunity Statement We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
