Dental Assistant

We are looking for a short-term commitment for May through mid-August to cover an employee on leave. This is a Monday-Thursday position, 7am-1pm. Great hours through the summer!

Job Details:

Requirements:

• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
• Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing dental records to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
• Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong oral health.
• Maintain strict infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments.
